"Christine has been teaching our daughter (11) and son (8) for the past 6 years and we could not be happier. We have watched our kid’s skills on the piano and love of music grow over time. Christine is different than your average piano teacher. She builds trust with her students and tailors her approach to the personality of the child. She also has frequent and open lines of communication with parents. The result is our daughter passed 2 Certificate of Merit Evaluations with state honors, and she is in the process of completing her third. Our son will begin evaluations in the coming year, and we are looking forward to it. Our daughter recently started participating in piano competitions and was invited to perform on stage at her afterschool program concert. Whether your kids want to play for fun and grow their love of music, or you are looking for a more rigorous and competitive track, Christine will be able to tailor the right plan for your family. We highly recommend her as a skilled, patient, caring, and versatile teacher."
"Ms. Christine has been a part of our family's piano experience since 2010 when she started teaching our 6 yr. old son, Ryan. Before we decided to purchase a piano, Ms. Christine held classes at her home where we were able to oversee the lessons. She is a very talented pianist with great teaching strategies for all levels of students. We cannot be more pleased with her demeanor with our son. She is very patient, uses positive reinforcement/rewards, and selected music pieces that kept him interested in playing for many years. She always has been accommodating with scheduling lessons as Ryan was involved in several extracurricular activities. In 2016, Ms. Christine began teaching our 4 yr. old daughter. Since she was so young, she adjusted the timing of the lessons to keep our daughter engaged. Ms. Christine also organizes twice a year piano recitals. We love it because our kids get excited to show off their skills in public. She is a wonderful teacher, and we highly recommend lessons with Ms. Christine!"

"I highly recommend Christine as a piano teacher! She has all the qualities of a great teacher: warmth, kindness, patience, dedication, adaptability and passion. Sebastian came to Christine as a transfer student and stayed with her for six years. He was able to read music well but needed a lot of help on his hand technique and rhythm. Christine was able to give him specific tips and exercises to help him become a better technical player. Christine cares about her students and provides a positive and nurturing environment. Sebastian is now a college student and still enjoys sitting down at the piano and playing. Thank you Christine for instilling a life long love for music! "

"I was a piano student of Christine’s for 6 years and I would highly recommend her to any student in search of a dedicated and experienced teacher. Christine has high standards as a teacher and wants to see all of her students reach their maximum potential as piano players. During her lessons, she focused on my playing technique and stressed good fundamentals not only note accuracy, and taught me that playing piano well involves much more than just playing the correct notes. Additionally, Christine is a very kind person and genuinely cares for her students. Unlike previous piano teachers I had, Christine is incredibly personable and was more than just a piano teacher to me, as she took time to get to know me and my family, as well. She also listens to her students and values their input, and helped me discover different pieces and genres that I wanted to play. I feel that this not only made piano more enjoyable for me, but also allowed me to grow as a piano player and musician. Although I am no longer taking piano lessons from Christine, I feel that I still retain a lot of her teachings from her lessons, and I still enjoy sitting down and playing."

"I took piano lessons with Christine for ten years, and I don't think I would be the person I am today without her. She has the patience and compassion that make for an excellent teacher. Not only is she a skilled pianist herself, but she's also adept at building relationships with students and families. In spite of my extreme shyness as a child, she was able to help me build confidence as a person and a piano player. She's a strengths-focused, positively reinforcing your skills as a student while providing support where you need it. The gratitude I feel for her as a teacher, and now as a friend, is boundless."

"We started piano lessons with Christine when my sons were 10 and 8. Both were eager to learn and immediately were inspired and encouraged by her. Her teaching was/is filled with patience and kindness. She has been one of the driving reasons my oldest son, Justin, has continued with his love for music. He is in college now, but when he’s home he spends hours playing our piano. It’s so fun to see this life-long skill that has become something he truly enjoys. We are so grateful that Christine helped shape our sons' musical lives."

"Christine is a wonderful piano teacher! We were introduced to Christine after my teenage son’s previous teacher retired. She gave very personal attention to my son giving him excellent instruction and constant encouragement. She organized a concrete path for him to succeed at Certificate of Merit (CM), achieving level 7 all while he was a very active high school athlete and honors student. She would customize lesson plans, gave him clear goals, and worked so well with him and with myself as a parent, always communicating and setting proper expectations. As a high schooler, she gave my son the opportunity to play music he enjoyed in addition to the necessary CM repertoire. His CM achievement was instrumental to him receiving a college scholarship. My son is a life long lover of piano playing thanks to her!"

"We are so happy Ms. Christine has been Katelyn's piano teacher for the past eight years. Katelyn started taking lessons in third grade and is currently a junior in high school. Katelyn had taken lessons at a couple of other studios but none of them had quite the right fit. Luckily, Ms. Christine was referred to us by a reliable friend. Christine was able to work with our schedule to find a mutually convenient time for weekly lessons. She takes into account the age and family dynamics to come up with a time that best fits the student with openings in her schedule. The most important aspect of Christine's lessons is that she custom tailors her teaching style to each individual child with the appropriate mix of patience, positive reinforcement, and disciplined structure with the specific details needed for proper technique. Christine will take the time to select specific music pieces for each recital knowing it would fit Katelyn's personality while giving her skills needed to progress to the next level. Christine caters her teaching to students who want to play for enjoyment and/or to complex levels with goals of Certificate of Merit (CM). Since Katelyn is a high schooler, her time is filled with academics, sports, and social activities. Many students in high school will drop piano due to time constraints. However, after testing for CM for a few years, Katelyn has decided to continue piano lessons while juggling her other commitments for the enjoyment of playing. A major contributing factor to Katelyn's decision is due to Christine's well-mannered teaching style and dedication in getting to know Katelyn on a personal level. Christine thoroughly enjoys teaching and being a part of her students' growth and development not only in piano but also in their journey from elementary through high school."

"Both my son, Quinten, and daughter, Sam, began lessons with Christine in 2008. Q was nine and Sam was five; oh, how time flies! Although Q decided to move on from piano at age twelve, he left with excellent core skills that he can still put to use today as a twenty-one-year-old. He often sits down at the piano and starts playing and I believe it because of his excellent training from Christine all those years ago. My youngest, Sam, has remained with Christine for over twelve years and is now a senior in high school. Over the years Sam has developed into an excellent player due to Christine’s dedication to teaching students classical music and technique as their base so that they can play any style of music after that. Christine is compassionate yet firm with her students and, as a result, has developed players that have a love for music and skills that they can use to further their musical goals or to just enjoy music as part of their everyday lives. Christine works with students' school, sports, and extracurricular schedules and makes her lessons quite personalized by getting to know each student and what style of teaching and music the student will best respond. Christine strives to perfect her own skills through professional training and courses and provides an excellent level of professionalism for every aspect of her business. These are just a few of her many attributes that make her an excellent teacher and one that I would highly recommend for any age or level player. With her training and confidence in her skills, Sam is able to play just about anything she puts her mind to and uses it as a way to relax and entertain her family and friends at a moment’s notice. She has even played at public pianos in locations as far as an Ireland subway station and enjoyed a round of applause for entertaining incoming/outgoing passengers. I know that Sam has developed not only a teacher-student relationship with Christine but a friendship as well; I expect that even as Sam moves on to college and away from her weekly lessons that Christine will stay in our lives for many years to come."

"Ms. Christine has been my girls’ piano instructor since they were five and seven years old; they are 12 and 14 now. My girls really enjoy learning piano because they think Ms. Christine is fun, engaging, and super sweet and patient. There are many great qualities about her that I like as a parent. She is a great communicator, has passion for what she does, loves children, is honest, nice but stern when needed in a loving way, and works well with kids of all ages. During this Covid-19 period, we have virtual lessons and it works very well."
I recommend all of my friends to Ms. Christine.

"We have been students of Ms. Christine's for over 3 years. During these years, we have seen our daughters develop an appreciation for piano while learning how to overcome challenges and learn persistence all under Ms. Christine's guidance. Our daughters are very different, Ms. Christine has tailored the curriculum for each based on how they learn the best. The personalized attention as well as technique that Ms. Christine teaches is invaluable, as it keeps our daughters engaged while learning key fundamental aspects of playing piano. I appreciate the progress updates as well as the thought that Ms. Christine puts into the pieces that she teaches our girls. I highly recommend Ms. Christine, she is very professional, conscientious, and a great teacher, you will not be disappointed."
