Christine is a Taiwanese-American pianist and teacher. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and raised by her Taiwanese mother who fostered her love for music. Her piano studies began at the age of seven, which developed into her passion for teaching music. Christine has been a devoted piano instructor for 24 years and is dedicated to bringing music into the lives of young children and adults alike.

Christine holds her bachelor's degree from Vanguard University and had the incredible opportunity to study at the Colburn School of Performing Arts. While there, she studied theory with Douglas Dutton, Los Angeles City College faculty member. Her piano studies were with Dr. Grace Huang, who is on the faculty at Colburn, and Ory Shihor, the founder and former dean of the Colburn Music Academy. From the Ory Shihor Institute, she has received certificates in Piano Pedagogy Intensives Levels 1 and 2. She has also earned a Professional Certificate in Music from the Berklee College of Music. Her performances have been at Mayman Hall at the Colburn School of Performing Arts.

She is a member of several professional associations, which include the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT), and the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC). Active membership with MTAC requires teachers to have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree.
